Product shown is an original Oreck brushroller system with a 2 setting brush. The 2 setting brush allows for longer durability. As the machine gets warn the unit can be adjusted to get closer to the floor. Labeled on both ends of the units are a new versus old setting so it lowers itself closer to the carpet. This model fits all residential Oreck XL upright models except the Xl21. Fits all Oreck XL2, 2000, 3000, 4000, 8000, 9000 series upright vacuum cleaners. Model numbers are found on the rear of the unit for confirmation.
